Nearly 100,000 keen race-goers attended the 2011 Ebor Festival at York, securing the Ebor Festival as one of the dates for the diary 2012.
Blue Bunting took home the spoils on Ladies Day under Frankie Dettori, while Twice Over won the Juddmonte International in a fairy tale ending for all concerned. However it was Frankie having the last laugh completing an Ebor Day treble to the crowds delight. The first staging of Fashion on the Field, under the guidance of Jeff Banks, saw a melee of fashion, beauty and millenary take centre stage off course. The best dressed racegoer was judged by a starry panel of designers including MatthewWilliamson and Ben de Lisi.
