The open Championship is the only major held outside the USA. Played over the weekend of the third Friday in July it is one of the most testing and highly anticipated championships in the sporting calendar.
Darren Clarke is the current Open Champion after taking home the £900,000 prize in 2011 at Sandwich. 2012 sees Royal Lytham & St Annes take up the hosting duties, a true links course with an average of 11 bunkers per hole will be sure to put the worlds best golfers to the test.
The Clubhouse Restaurant is the premier package, situated on the top floor of a two tier structure, lending exceptional views of the course, and the action taking place on it. The facility has been specially designed to give an intimate club style lounge appeal.
Chose from the a la carte menu or keep coming back to graze from the suptuous tapas style menu selection. Our executive chef will take traditional dishes and serve them with a contemporary twist. A full wine list and bar is also available. Take your time to enjoy the golf from your vantage point or out on the course, knowing what luxury awaits on your return.
