Is there a Dress Code?
There is no dress code at Cheltenham. As we race largely during the winter months, the weather can be unpredictable, so we would advise you to dress accordingly. At The Festival, many ladies wear hats, but with the weather rather than high fashion in mind. Gentlemen usually wear a suit or similar in the Club Enclosure and in restaurants and hospitality facilities. Fancy dress is permitted as long as the outfit is not offensive and we reserve the right to decline entry should the need arise. On BetVictor Gold Cup Day and during The Festival fancy dress is not permitted in the Club Enclosure.
Is parking available?
Parking is free at all of our meetings except Friday and Saturday of The Open and all four days of The Festival. Hospitality guests will receive an allocation as part of their package on a 1:2 ratio
Can I walk the course?
In the interests of providing the best possible ground for the horses, the only people allowed to walk around the course on racedays or in the build-up to race meetings are the “connections” of runners.
Can limousines park at the racecourse?
Limousine car parking is available within the coach car park. Parking for a limousine will cost £15 on the day and cannot be purchased in advance.
Our postcode is GL50 4SH for use with GPS equipment. However on a raceday customers are strongly advised to follow the yellow, temporary signs when entering Cheltenham and the local area and not the brown permanent signs
The parking scheme is colour coded, so that your parking zone will match your label and preferred route
Please study the route maps provided showing the preferred routes to your final parking destination and then follow the yellow, temporary signs put in place for the racing, ignoring both sat nav directions and brown signs once you pick up the yellow directional signs
Hospitality guests should follow the colour of the car parking pass provided.
