The 2012 Cheltenham Festival will once again bring the Olympics of the National Hunt Season to the famous Prestbury Park Racecourse. 2011 winners included Hurricane Fly in the Champion Hurdle, Sizing Europe in the Queen Mother Champion Chase and Long Run in the totesport Gold Cup. Four superb days of racing are guaranteed.
Tuesday’s highlights include the Stan James Supreme Novices Hurdle, the Arkle Challenge Trophy and the Champion Hurdle. Wednesday is Ladies Day with the sportingbet.com Queen Mother Champion Chase and the Coral Cup. Thursday sees the Ryanair Chase and Ladbrokes World Hurdle with the Festival culminating with Friday’s JCB Triumph Hurdle and of course the totesport Gold Cup, the most sought after title in National Hunt racing.
For 2012 the double decker marquee facility will, once again, be available, providing guests with a superb vantage point to view the racing. Private suites are available for 40 guests with smaller numbers being accommodated in the restaurant. Non viewing marquee facilities are also available.
